Smooth Latin Groove teach Salsa, Rueda, Zouk, Gafiera Samba, Bachata, Cha Cha Cha and Hip Hop in Annerly.  SLG are known for their friendly atmosphere and their great dance floors!  We reccommend this school as they are unpretentious, and popular amongst UQ Dancers!  Our very own Vice-President, JC, is currently an instructor with SLG!  The Public Relatons Camel recommends Club Rueda at SLG.  If you are interested finding out more, head over to their website, and make sure you take you UQDance Membership card along.

Rio is another popular choice amonst UQ Dancers.  They teach salsa, samba, tango, merengue, gafieira, zouk-lambada, forró, bolero, bossa nova, and more.  Rio also has a very friendly atmosphere, with a great location in West End.  Our president, Shani, has done some classes with Rio.  Head along to their website for more information, and don't forget to take along you UQDance Membership Card.

Raw connection has brought the smooth, sleek, and sexy stylings of West Coast Swing to Brisbane.  Allan and Holly run fantastic casual classes, as well as regular workshops - you have to head along to one of their classes and check out what all the buzz is about.  One of our Troupe Leaders, Grevo, is a hard-core West Coast Swinger, and the Public Relations Camel is also an enthusiast!  Head along to their website for more information, and I will mention it again, take along your UQDance Membership cards!

Swing Dance Brisbane is Brisbane's VERY BEST place to learn East Coast Swing.  That's 6-step, Chaleston, Lindy-hop, Blues, and Balboa.  They are VERY good at what they do - if you go along to a Swing or Jazz event in Brisbane and spot a group of 'swingers' out front, chances are they are from SDB.  The Public Relations Camel learnt everything he knows from SDB.  Lindy-hop is one of the craziest and most spectacular dances to watch, so head along to their website for more information.
