Swing with a twist?
West Coast Swing is a style of Swing that is newly being introduced to Queensland. Head onto Youtube and check it out - its AWESOME! Its like the swing we do, but much smoother, and you can dance it to a wider variety of music. It would appear that West Coast Swing got all the SEX that East Coast Swing is missing!
This Thursday night @ 7.30pm, head along to Greenslopes Bowls Club for a free intro lesson! I met with Allan from Raw Connection last week, and he is eager to get West Coast Swing started up in Brisbane! It is big in the US, has a big crowd in Sydney, and is admired by swing and latin dancers alike. I would love to see a crowd of UQ Dancers there Thursday night.
