How about you learn Swing now that you have your Wednesday Nights free?
Swing Dance Brisbane has their new beginner block starting up tomorrow night:
This is where you start. We introduce you to the basic six and eight count patterns that are used in all swing dancing. You will become familiar with swing music and various tempos, and also the tricky - but essential - concepts of leading and following (this is what the dance is all about).
During the six week Level 1 block, we will consolidate material each week and gradually introduce you to more techniques and moves. Your learning pace will largely be determined by the class.
Don’t worry if you feel a bit awkward in the beginning; just enjoy yourself. While we aim to teach you to swing dance, we will help you have fun along the way.
Cost: $12 Adult / $10 Concession or $60 Adult / $50 Concession for upfront payment of a block
