Well done to everyone who threw their books out the window and joined us for what has to be one of the most challenging partner dances you can learn. And what a treat, Allan and Holly from Raw Connection West Coast Swing will be back this Wednesday to teach you some smooth 8-count west coast moves. Put them together with the 6-count moves you learnt last week, and you’re well on your way to gliding over the dance floor with this modern dance.
Did you miss the first week of West Coast Swing? No need to worry, because we’ll be learning brand new moves this week and you won’t miss out.
The mid-sem break is just around the corner, which means it’s time for UQ Dance Movie Night! It’s a night that’s all about popcorn and lazing around while we put on a corny and cheesy dance flick (the 80s gave us plenty of those), chosen by popular demand on the night of course. So make sure you mark 6pm Thursday 21st of week 8 down in your calendar.
