Week 1 – Kick off Semester Two with Market Day and Salsa!
It’s time to shine your dance shoes, iron your favourite shirt and get your groove on, because UQ Dance is back for Semester 2!
Tomorrow is the big day!
UQ Dance sets up its stall in the Great Court from 10am to 3pm (Wed 27th) for Market Day. And then that very night, we officially launch semester 2 with our first workshop in Salsa taught by the very talented duo, Nicole and JC.
Our workshops are still on Wednesday nights, at the usual spot next to the lolly shop and pharmacy. Arrive from 6pm for a 6:30pm start to our one-hour lesson. Then, dance the night away with social dancing until 9pm. You don’t need any experience and partners are not required – you’ll get to dance with everyone!
Here are some of the things you can look forward to this Semester:
- End of Semester Dance Party and BBQ
- Picnics
- Movie Nights
- And of course, all of our favourite dance styles!
